Hal Higdon

Today I am giving the Recommended by DeBarra Mayo Award to Hal Higdon.

Hal Higdon is an amazing man with an amazing career. He is the author of 34 books, including the best-selling Marathon: The Ultimate Training Guide. Hal is an extraordinary writer. He has written books and articles on a variety of subjects. His children's book, The Horse That Played Center Field, was made into an animated feature by ABC-TV.

Hal ran eight times in the Olympic Trials and won four world masters championships.
